After the Black Sea Games, Hamsi also became the mascot of EYOF Trabzon 2011.
Hamsi, representing the great amount of hunted fishes, takes on the task of representation in
the important organizations, besides being an essential foodstuff.
Hamsi will maintain the same role in 11th EYOF between 23 and 30 July 2011, as it was
in the 1st Black Sea Festival on July 2007. Hamsi, having the 1st prize in the competition,
roamed on the streets and took an impressive attention after being introduced in the
introduction meeting.
